Strict Security Scheme For Premier League 1 Matches, No Spectators

JAKARTA - The security scheme for organizing the inaugural match of the League 1 competition is very tight. At least 341 personnel were deployed to guard the match which was held at the Bung Karno Main Stadium.

"Tomorrow (the inaugural match of League 1), we will deploy 341 personnel for security," said the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Yusri Yunus to reporters, Thursday, August 26.

In the security scheme and agreement related to permits, no spectator is allowed to attend in person. Only players and officials are allowed, and even then the number is limited.

"First, the audience is eliminated, so there are no spectators at all (at the stadium)," said Yusri.

"There are only players and officials. Even then, there are 299 who can enter there with 4 zones," he continued.

In addition to limiting the number of officials and players, the rules also require that all of them have been vaccinated. Otherwise, they are not allowed to participate or be involved in the match.

"With the condition that everything has to be vaccinated for a second and has been swab for antigen. So we will prepare security," said Yusri.

For information, the League 1 Competition will be held again. The inaugural match will take place at Gelora Bung Karno on Friday, August 27.
