Efforts To Take Peaceful Path, David Noah And Lina Will Be Found At Polda Metro Jaya

JAKARTA - Metro Jaya Police investigators plan to bring together David Kurnia Albert Dorfel alias David Noah with the reporter, Lina Yunita, in the alleged fraud case committed by David.

"We will meet D (David) with the reporter (Lina) to bring the available evidence to find out the total value of the case," said the Head of Public Relations of the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Yusri Yunus, to reporters, Thursday, August 26.

According to investigators, David's meeting with Lina is scheduled for next week. It is hoped that the meeting can find a bright spot.

"We will meet that later, hopefully on Monday (August 30). We hope that there will be mediation and we will prioritize peace," said Yusri.

Yusri alluded to the process of examining David last week. From the results of the examination, it was known that David had returned part of his debt.

"There are several data that we need to explore and the results of the first initial check of D convey that indeed, out of this Rp1.1 billion, some have been returned to the complainant," said Yusri.

However, Yusri was reluctant to describe the money that had been returned. According to him, this needs to be proven by bringing the two together.

"We will meet on Monday, on Monday he will bring the evidence," said Yusri.

David Kurnia Albert Dorfel alias David Noah was reported to Polda Metro Jaya on suspicion of fraud amounting to Rp1.15 billion on Thursday, August 5. The scam is a fraudulent check. The reporter in this case is named Lina Yunita.

The report is registered with the number LP/B/3761/VII/2021/SPKT Polda Metro Jaya. In this case, David is suspected of violating Articles 372 and 378 of the Criminal Code.
