Agung Mozin Resigns From Amien Rais Ummat Party

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairperson of the Ummat Agung Party, Mozin, said he was resigning from the management and at the same time as the party.

This was stated by Agung in a letter addressed to the Chairman of the Ummat Party Syuro Council, Amien Rais, with a copy to the general chairman circulating on Thursday, August 26.

Agung said he was grateful for the issuance of the Decree of the Minister of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia Number: M.KH Kep13.AH.11.01 of 2021 dated August 20, 2021 concerning the Ratification of the Legal Entity of the Ummah Party.

"On behalf of the person who was entrusted as the Deputy Chairperson of the Ummah Party, I express my gratitude and infinite appreciation to all parties, especially the friends of the management, members, and sympathizers of the Ummah Party who have worked hard until the issuance of the Legal Entity of the Ummah Party, accompanied by Allah's prayer. Allah SWT bless our efforts and worship, amen," said Agung Mozin's statement, Thursday, August 26.

However, Agung admitted his resignation from the Ummah Party as a form of ethical and moral responsibility. The reason is, he feels that the communication of the elite party made by Amien Rais does not prioritize Akhlakul Karimah.

"Pay close attention to the internal dynamics of the party, the barriers of information and elitist communication that do not prioritize morality, while taking into account the various information and aspirations of the friends of the Ummat Party in various regions, including friends of democracy activists who are consistent and consistent against feudalism and political dynasties. "I hereby AGUNG MOZIN declare STOP as a member of the Ummah Party as a form of ethical and moral responsibility," said Agung Mozin's statement, Thursday, August 26.

Agung hopes that the momentum for the issuance of the Legal Entity of the Ummat Party can be a contemplation of future political work.

"Only to Allah we put our trust, hopefully the efforts of me and other friends who have led to the establishment of the Ummah Party can be interpreted as the mandate of the ummah that must be accounted for in the presence of Allah SWT," said Agung in his statement letter of resignation.
