The Governor of DKI Jakarta further explained that the media face challenges and relies on many things, one of which is speed. Thus, the accuracy of reporting is sometimes a test that makes people refer to confirmation from the Government. This is the reverse and we must be aware of it together, he said.

Anies advised the media to maintain objectivity in their reporting. Moreover, the media has a role to accommodate and convey various information to the public.

The MH Thamrin Journalistic Award, a collaboration between PWI Jaya and the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, is a prestigious award given to members of the press who have produced the best journalistic work since the era of DKI Jakarta Governor Ali Sadikin in 1974.

"For those who receive the award, it is still maintained to be able to produce proud journalistic work," said Anies.
