PADANG - Inspector General Teddy Minahasa Putra was appointed as West Sumatra Police Chief replacing Inspector General Toni Harmanto who was transferred as South Sumatra Police Chief.
Karo Penmas Brigadier General of the Police Public Relations Division Brigadier General Rusdi Hartono confirmed the information, Wednesday, August 25.

Meanwhile, Inspector General Toni Harmanto was transferred as the South Sumatra Police Chief and previously served in West Sumatra since December 2019.
The Head of Public Relations of the West Sumatra Police, Kombes Satake Bayu, said that the mutation in the National Police was a promotion and signified the regeneration of human resources within the institution.
