Fast Action, Bareskrim Arrest Muhammad Kece In Bali

JAKARTA - The Criminal Investigation Police arrested Youtuber Muhammad Kece who is a suspect in the alleged blasphemy case against Islam. The arrests were made shortly after the case went up for investigation.

"It is true that the person in question has been arrested," said the Head of the Criminal Investigation Department, Komjen Agus Andrianto, when confirmed, Wednesday, August 25.

The arrest of Muhammad Kece took place in Bali. Currently, investigators are taking him to Jakarta for further investigation.

"Today they will be brought to the Criminal Investigation Department," said Komjen Agus.

Previously, the Bareskrim Polri upgraded the status of the alleged blasphemy case against Islam with reported Muhammad Kece from investigation to investigation.

In addition, the evidence was strengthened by expert examination. At least, linguists and religious experts have been questioned about the case.

There was even a statement that was considered blasphemy when Muhammad Kece uploaded a video on his YouTube account. Where, he inserts the word 'Jesus' in the Muslim greeting sentence

"Assalamualaikum, warrahmatuyesus wabarakatu," said Muhammad Kece.

In addition, he also changed several other sentences. Thus, Muhammad Kece was criticized by various parties.

"Alhamdulillah, jesus hirabbilalamin, all praise is due to the presence of the Lord Jesus, the father in heaven who deserves to be praised and worshiped," said Muhammad Kece.
