Mediation, Dandim Buleleng Bali And Sidatapa Residents Agree Peace After Beating Case

BULELENG - The mediation of the beating case in Sidatapa Village, Banjar, Buleleng, Bali between the Dandim and residents has yielded results. The Dandim of Buleleng and the residents agreed to make peace.

The mediation was conducted by the Head of the Buleleng Police, AKBP Andrian Pramudianto Wantilan Pura, Sidatapa Village, Banjar District, Buleleng Regency, Bali, Tuesday, August 24.

"The results of the mediation went smoothly, the community has accepted peace. The Kodim has also apologized. In the future, there will be no further problems," said AKBP Andrian.

He explained that the report from the Buleleng Dandim Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Windra Lisrianto who was beaten by residents would be revoked.

"The report, when the peace has been signed, will be revoked by the Dandim. (Signed) as soon as possible, we are currently drafting it," said AKBP Andrian.

"We have a concept, yes, the point is peace. We apologize to each other, and will not repeat the act, in the future there will be no more disagreements," he continued.

In mediation, according to AKBP Andrian, there were no special requests from residents. However, residents asked that the COVID-19 test be socialized first before being carried out.

"They asked if there would be more socialization with COVID-19, they basically (asked for) more massiveness. So, so that when you want to do an antigen swab again, please let me know ahead of time. Not suddenly and not by means of coercion," he said.

Meanwhile, the Buleleng Police will pay for the treatment of residents who have been hit, including damage to the shop's rolling door.

"We are responsible, the Police are in charge. Including the damage, so there is a shop, which is damaged, in the video there is a shop, so the rolling door is damaged, we will immediately fix it, assisted by the Regency Government (Buleleng)," he said.

There were 5 residents who were injured when TNI members spontaneously hit them. The beatings occurred because a resident hit the Buleleng Dandim from behind.

"Later on, Mr. Dandim will withdraw the report with a statement letter with a matrices. The point is that we prioritize the restoration of justice," he said.

AKBP Andrian confirmed that the COVID-19 test with antigens would be disseminated to residents prior to the implementation.

"I am also the Chief of the Resort Police, yesterday it was not the Sidatapa community who felt that they had reacted to the implementation of the antigen swab. So in the future we will carry out more massive socialization issues. The Sidatapa community is happy with the government's presence, they really hope for a treatment or prevention regarding COVID -19," said AKBP Andrian.
