JAKARTA - The Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) managed to stop two fishing vessels from Vietnam in the 711 WPP-NRI area.
The two Vietnamese-flagged vessels have hull numbers KG 1843 TS and KG 9138 TS in the North Natuna Sea.
On humanitarian grounds, 22 crew members were rescued and taken to the Batam PSDKP Base. They were brought along with evidence in the form of 1 ton of fish to undergo further legal proceedings.
