Lawyer Regarding The Riot Of Ryan Jombang And Bahar Smith: There Was A Mass Mobilization From Outside

JAKARTA - The lawyer convicted of the murder case of Very Idham Henyansyah alias Ryan Jombang, Benny Daga said there was an allegation of mass mobilization related to the commotion between his client and Bahar bin Smith.

The mob is said to be not inmates or convicts of the Class IIA Special Penitentiary (Lapas) Gunung Sindur, Bogor

"Regarding the mass mobilization, we don't know the amount yet. But according to our client's statement, it's quite a number," said Benny to reporters, Thursday, August 19.

According to him, this crowd had created a riot. They are looking for Ryan Jombang.

"People from outside came in, entered the prison and then ransacked inside the prison to try to attack our clients," said Benny.

The existence of the outsider continued Benny, based on information from his client. Ryan Jombang is believed by the lawyer to know and be able to distinguish between inmates or not.

"Directly from Ryan's (confession) because Ryan is an inmate in prison, of course he knows that anyone is inside the prison and it's a resident from outside," said Benny.

Previously, Ryan Jombang was involved in a dispute with Habib Bahar bin Smith. The dispute between the two was due to a misunderstanding.

"It's just a personal problem that can happen to anyone and anywhere, including in prisons," said Head of Class IIA Gunung Sindur, Mujiarto.

However, Mujiarto ensured that the two prisoners were in good condition at this time. Habib Bahar and Ryan Jombang have also agreed to make peace.

"It has been resolved peacefully," said Mujiarto.
