Depok Residents Must Know! Marriage Reception Degree Is Still Prohibited, For Most Contracts Of 20 People

DEPOK - The City Government (Pemkot) of Depok, West Java has not allowed a wedding reception by the public because the PPKM extension is still in effect.

"Wedding reception activities during the implementation of PPKM Level 4 will be abolished. Meanwhile, for a marriage or blessing ceremony, a maximum of 20 people can attend, with strict health protocols," said Depok Mayor Mohammad Idris in a statement quoted by Antara, Wednesday, August 18.

The decision was stated in letter No. 443/345/Kpts/Satgas/Huk/2021 concerning the Fourth Extension of the Implementation of Level 4 Corona Virus Disease 2019 Restrictions on Community Activities, which were extended to 23 August 2021.

This Kepwal also arranges for takziah activities to be attended by a maximum of 10 people, by implementing strict health protocols.

Then, community activities outside the home are carried out by continuing to wear two-layer masks correctly and consistently and it is not allowed to use face shields without wearing a mask.

As for places of worship, such as mosques, prayer rooms, churches, temples, monasteries/klenteng, and other places that function as places of worship, a maximum of 50 percent capacity or 50 people are allowed.

"By implementing more stringent health protocols and paying attention to technical arrangements from the Indonesian Ministry of Religion," Kepwal wrote.

In addition, the public is prohibited from spreading hoax and provocative information, whether in the name of religion, culture, and others.

Finally, residents' activities are limited to 21.00 WIB, except for emergencies and on their way home from work in essential and critical sectors by showing ID cards or travel documents.
