COVID-19 Red Zone In Jakarta Remaining 3 RT, Deputy Governor: Be Attention

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Province noted that areas with red zones or high risk zones for the spread of COVID-19 currently have 3 RTs.

This is displayed on the corona.jakarta.go.id website with a recording period of 16 to 22 August 2021. The previous week, the red zone in the capital city was 7 RT.

The red zones in Jakarta are RT 006 RW 006, Ciganjur Village, South Jakarta; RT 006 RW 003 Kelurahan Cibubur, East Jakarta; and RT 009 RW 008 Kelurahan Petojo Selatan, Central Jakarta.

Responding to this, Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria said that the DKI Provincial Government would pay more attention to the three RTs with red zones.

"That has caught our attention. Thank God it went down last week and we have entered the green zone, only 3 RTs remain. Hopefully in the near future we can return to the orange (zone) and eventually reach the green (zone)," said Riza, Wednesday , August 18th.

Based on the government's handling scenario, a red zone is set if there are more than 10 houses that have positive confirmed cases of COVID-19 during the last seven days.

Control scenarios are carried out by finding suspected cases and tracing close contacts. Control is also carried out by conducting independent/centralized isolation with strict supervision, closing houses of worship, children's playgrounds and other public places except for the essential sector.

It is regulated regarding RT areas with red zones prohibited from holding crowds of more than 3 people, limiting entry and exit of RT areas to a maximum of 20.00 hours, as well as eliminating community social activities in the RT environment that cause crowds and have the potential to cause transmission.

"Of course there is attention, in RT-RW there is a task force that focuses on monitoring, supervising, ensuring there is acceleration from the red, orange, yellow and green zones," said Riza.
