Become A Courier Of Shabu, Two Young Mothers In Garut Arrested By Police

GARUT – Two young women in Garut Regency, West Java are suspected of distributing shabu-shabu drugs. The actions of the two women were successfully kissed by police officers so that both were arrested.

Members of the Garut Police Narcotics Unit seconded by the West Java Police are currently developing this case. This is because the officers indicated that the two young women, FB (29) and RE (18), were a network of syndicates circulating methamphetamine in West Java.

"These two women are housewives who are couriers in narcotics trafficking syndicates," said Head of the Garut Police Narcotics Unit, AKP Maolana, quoting PMJ, Wednesday, August 18.

Maolana added that this young mother was arrested along with five other people with the initials FA (24), AF (18), HN (21), UP (33), and HA (41). The perpetrator is known to be a narcotics trafficking syndicate in Garut Regency.

"We have secured these seven people in the Tarogong Kaler sub-district on Saturday (7 August 2021). During the arrest, we secured a number of evidences, ranging from methamphetamine, electric scales to suction devices," he continued.

In addition to evidence, his party also uncovered three other criminal cases, such as the misuse of pharmaceutical drugs without a permit, synthetic tobacco drugs, and methamphetamine.

A total of 12 people were arrested. They were arrested in a number of different places in the jurisdiction of the Garut Police.

For the actions of the perpetrators, they will be charged with Article 114 paragraph 1 and paragraph 2 in conjunction with Article 112 paragraph 1 and paragraph 2 in conjunction with Article 132 paragraph 1 of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics. The punishment for the perpetrators is imprisonment from 4 years to 20 years.
