BCA Urges Customers To Activate Credit Card PINs Before 1 July 2020

JAKARTA - According to Bank Indonesia regulations, as of July 1, 2020, all credit card transactions are required to use a PIN. PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) as part of the national financial system certainly supports this policy as an effort to provide security and comfort in financial transactions using credit cards.

"Since some time ago, BCA has been actively providing outreach to credit card holders throughout the country to activate Credit Card PINs before July 1, 2020. For information, until May 2020, it was recorded that 84 percent had activated PIN for credit card transactions. "For BCA credit card holders who have not activated their PINs, we hope to immediately activate them before July 1, 2020," said I Ketut.

To activate a credit card PIN via the BCA mobile application, select the mAdmin feature, select Credit card activation, then select create / change PIN, and select "create PIN". In addition, customers can activate the PIN through the BCA website www.bca.co.id/creditcard by filling out the Data Verification form https://eform.klikbca.com/f Facilitiesonlinecc/.

Apart from using the BCA mobile and BCA website, customers can activate the credit card PIN via BCA ATMs, by entering the Authentication Code sent via SMS BCA after the credit card is activated.

To do this, enter your Credit Card, select "PIN Activation", enter the 6 digit "Authentication Code" received via SMS *, press "Correct". If valid, press "Continue" and enter the new 6 digit PIN (2 times). Your PIN is active, you will receive an SMS notification.
