Motorcycle Gang Brawl In Cengkareng 1 Person Killed, Perpetrator In Pursuit

JAKARTA - The General Crime Unit (Krimum) of the West Jakarta Metro Police AKP Avrilendy said his party was still pursuing the perpetrators of the brawl that occurred at the Kampung Duri Bridge, Daan Mogot, Cengkareng, West Jakarta last Sunday, August 8.

"We continue to search for the perpetrators, please pray for them," said AKP Avrilendy to reporters, Thursday, August 12.

As a result of the convoy that ended in a brawl, one young man with the initials LF died. "There were victims who died from stab wounds, initials LF," he said.

The police are still looking for the youths or the perpetrators of the brawl that killed LF. The brawl started from the viral video of the brawl.

In a video circulating on social media Instagram, dozens of young men can be seen riding a motorcycle convoy carrying sharp weapons and firecrackers.

Allegedly, dozens of youths are preparing to fight with other groups. This action has also drawn criticism from netizens.

Confirmed separately, West Jakarta Metro Police Head of Criminal Investigation Unit, Kompol Joko Dwi Harsono, said that his party had conducted an investigation regarding the viral video of the brawl.

"We've seen the video, and the team will go down to investigate the intentions of the youths of the convoy with sharp weapons," he said.
