BEKASI - Bekasi Metro Police have opened all isolation points in the jurisdiction of Bekasi Regency and City. This step was taken to replace the community restriction scheme into controlling citizen mobility during the PPKM Level 4.

Argo Wiyono also said that previously blocked access to Toll Gate (GT) has been reopened starting today, including GT Tambun, East Cikarang, Cibatu, and West Cikarang GT.

Not only that, the officers also opened a blocking post on the border of Bekasi Regency and Bekasi City, precisely on Jalan Sultan Hasanuddin, South Tambun District, as well as a blocking post on Jalan Rengas Bandung, Kedungwaringin District or the border between Bekasi Regency and Karawang Regency.

Although it has been opened, Argo ensures that there will be officers who will control the mobility of residents in the Bekasi Regency area. Even routine patrols to engineering the opening and closing of lanes are still carried out, especially at traffic density nodes.

Argo appealed to the people of Bekasi Regency to continue to implement all the provisions in the implementation of PPKM Level 4 and follow the COVID-19 vaccination at the outlets that have been provided to accelerate the realization of group immunity.

Bekasi Metro Police Chief Commissioner Aloysius Suprijadi said officers had opened all isolation points in the Bekasi City jurisdiction while handling the COVID-19 pandemic would continue with the enforcement of health protocols including breaking up crowds at residents' activity nodes.

"Four isolation points since the Emergency PPKM was implemented have been opened this morning at 00.00 WIB," he said.

The four blocking points that have been opened include the Sumber Artha bulkhead post on Jalan KH Noer Ali Kalimalang, the Harapan Indah blockage, and the blocking of the West Bekasi and East Bekasi toll gates.

"Hopefully the public will consciously adhere to health protocols by reducing their mobility because the COVID-19 pandemic is not over," he said.

Officers are starting to take care of community activity centers such as markets, public open spaces, commercial centers, to traffic-heavy nodes.
