KPK Brings Evidence Of Alleged Corruption From Rumdin And Banjarnegara Regent's Office Budhi Sarwono

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) continues to investigate cases of alleged corruption in contracting, procurement or leasing at the PUPR Office of the Banjarnegara Regency Government in 2017-2018.

This step is carried out by searching a number of locations. As a result, KPK investigators confiscated a number of documents allegedly related to this case.

Acting KPK spokesman Ali Fikri said that three locations were searched on Tuesday, August 10, namely the Banjarnegara Regent's Office, Banjarnegara Regency, Central Java, Budhi Sarwono. Then, the Banjarnegara Regent's Office House; and a residence in Krandengan, Banjarnegara District, Banjarnegara Regency, Central Java.

"At the three locations, the Investigative Team found and secured various evidences, including various documents allegedly related to the case," he said in a written statement, Wednesday, August 11.

Furthermore, Ali said the confiscation of the documents was being examined by investigators. "The confiscation will later be carried out on the various evidences to be a part of the filing of this investigative case," he said. Then, said Ali, today the searches were continued at two locations, namely the PT SW office on Jl. Yasadiwirya Penaruban, Kaligondang, Purbalingga, Central Java; and a residence on Jl. Dipokusumo, Purbalingga Lor Village, Purbalingga District, Purbalingga Regency, Central Java.

"The Investigative Team is currently still in the field to carry out the said activity. We will inform you about the development of information from this activity later," he said.

Previously, the KPK was investigating allegations of corruption and gratification cases at the Banjarnegara PUPR Service in 2017-2018. This rasuah practice is related to procurement, chartering, and rental activities.

Unfortunately, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) still has not explained who the parties are named as suspects in this case. Later, the announcement of the suspect and the chronology of the alleged corruption will be announced when the detention is carried out.
