Danrem 041/Gamas Regrets That The COVID-19 Central Isolation Facility In North Bengkulu Has Not Been Maximized

BENGKULU - Danrem 041/Gamas Brigadier General Yanuar Adil, regrets that the COVID-19 centralized isolation facility has not been maximized, with the community continuing to self-isolate at home.

This was conveyed on the sidelines of a series of working visits to the Bengkulu Province Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda) led by the Governor of Bengkulu, Dr. H. Rohidin Mersyah to North Bengkulu Regency and Mukomuko Regency on August 10-11.

"Regarding the early examination (Testing), tracking (Tracing) and treatment (Treatment), I have seen the isolation place, unfortunately this place is not used. After being asked where the community is, isolate at home," he said in a written statement.

"The function of this centralized isolation is, firstly, to facilitate supervision. Second, for treatment, because in the post, of course there are vitamins and Babinsa also recommends patients to sunbathe," he explained.

Furthermore, the 1988 Military Academy Abituren explained, centralized isolation is one way to reduce the death rate and the spread of COVID-19. For a centralized isolation place in the village, it can be carried out in places such as shop houses, schools and others according to the situation in the village.

"I suggest that if necessary, Babinsa and Bhabinkamtibmas should invite them to carry out this centralized isolation," he suggested.

On the same occasion, Danrem 041/Gamas hopes that the public's high enthusiasm for the first dose of vaccine will not decrease in the second dose of vaccination. What's more, this will be useful later with a second dose being a condition for traveling.

"We say that if you want to take a plane, travel between districts, you will have to show the second dose of vaccination later. People will come later. What must be emphasized is that news that is important for the second dose of vaccine is very important to form a strong immune system against Corona virus in us, for that the community must carry out the second vaccine, according to notifications via SMS and other announcements, "he said.

Meanwhile, regarding mobility restrictions, the COVID-19 Task Force has met with the Governor and formed a team to limit community mobility between districts. He expects the district to form a team to limit mobility in accordance with the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs regarding PPKM Level 4.

"If there is no wedding party, then everything is compact. If there is indeed an emphasis on worship at home, yes worship at home, this needs to be conveyed, so that people understand," he explained.

He added that the policy of limiting the mobility of the people was a policy that the public did not like. However, the results are for society as well.

"My message is, let's carry out PPKM Micro, 3T and vaccination activities, as well as limiting people's mobility seriously. Because if we don't start now, then when? If not us, who else will do it?" he concluded.
