16 Types Of Vehicles That Are Free Of Odd-Even Rules

JAKARTA - Head of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Transportation Service, Syafrin Liputo, said that in the odd-even scheme there are several vehicles that are included in the exception list. There are at least 16 types of vehicles that have no effect on these regulations.

"There are exceptions for motorized vehicles that enter the odd-even area," said Syafrin in his statement, Wednesday, August 11.

Dozens of vehicles that do not affect the odd-even rule, among others;

• Vehicles carrying people with disabilities • Ambulance vehicles • Fire fighting vehicles • Public transport vehicles (yellow plate) • Vehicles driven by electric motors • Motorcycles • Special goods transport vehicles for Oil and Gas Fuel • Vehicles for the leadership of the Republican High Institutions Indonesia, namely: the President/Vice President, the Chairperson of the People's Consultative Assembly/Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat/Dewan Perwakilan Daerah, and the Chairperson of the Supreme Court/Constitutional Court/Judicial Commission/Financial Audit Board.• Operational Service Vehicles with official plates, TNI and POLRI• Leadership Vehicles and Foreign State Officials and International Institutions who are state guests • Vehicles to provide assistance in traffic accidents • Vehicles for certain purposes according to the considerations of POLRI officers, such as Money Carrier vehicles (Bank Indonesia, inter-bank, ATM filling) with supervision from the POLRI. • Vehicles for health workers handling Corona Virus Dis ease (COVID-19) during the national disaster management period caused by the spread of Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) • Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) patient mobilization vehicle • Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) vaccine mobilization vehicle • Transport vehicle oxygen cylinders. On the other hand, with the odd-even rule, Syafrin appealed to the public not to leave the house or move around if it was not urgent. But if you have to, then, you are asked to always apply strict health protocols.

"We also urge the public not to carry out unnecessary mobility, except for those that are urgent and to obey health protocols," he said.

Previously, it was reported that the Polda Metro Jaya decided to stop the 100-point blocking scheme during the extension of the Implementation of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) level 4 to August 16.

But to control people's mobility, three new schemes will be implemented. One of them by applying the odd-even system.

This scheme will be implemented on Thursday, August 12. Then, this scheme will take effect from 06.00 WIB to 20.00 WIB.

This odd-even scheme will also be implemented on Jalan Sudirman, Jalan MH Thamrin, Jalan Merdeka Barat, Jalan Majapahit, Jalan Gajah Mada, Jalan Hayam Wuruk, Jalan Pintu Besar Selatan, and Jalan Gatot Subroto.
