Polda Metro Calls EO Healthcare Officer 'Empty Vaccine' Has Classification, Negligence Because Vaccines 599 People

JAKARTA - The police said that one of the motives for the health workers (nakes) with the initials EO was to inject empty vaccines due to negligence. Because, he has given vaccines to hundreds of people in one day.

"So it was negligence, so from the beginning the person concerned had vaccinated 599 people, so he felt he was negligent," said the Head of Public Relations of the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Yusri Yunus, to reporters, Tuesday, August 10.

Although one of the suspects' motives has been revealed, Yusri said the investigation team will continue to investigate. The goal is to dig up and find out whether there are other motives behind it.

"But we are still exploring it," said Yusri.

However, Yusri stated that EO is a health worker who has a classification as a vaccinator. But it is undeniable that his negligence had a fatal impact.

"This EO is also classified as an injection or vaccinator," said Yusri.

Previously, it was reported that the police had named a health worker with the initials EO as a suspect in the case of injecting empty vaccines at a school in the Pluit area, North Jakarta.

With the appointment as a suspect, EO is suspected of under Article 14 of Law Number 4 of 1984 concerning Outbreaks of Infectious Diseases.
