JAKARTA - The Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) reported a number of findings in the examination of DKI's financial results for the 2020 fiscal year.
A number of these findings include the DKI Provincial Government wasting payments for the purchase of rapid test kits and N95 Respirator masks, still paying salaries for employees who have died and retired, distributing KJP Plus to students who have graduated, and various other findings.
Responding to this, DKI Jakarta Provincial Inspector Syaefuloh Hidayat claimed that there were no regional losses caused because the recommendations on BPK's findings were administrative in nature.
The recommendation on this finding, said Saefuloh, had no impact on obtaining an unqualified opinion (WTP) which was assigned to the DKI Provincial Government.
"A number of BPK's findings on the 2020 LKPD are administrative in nature which does not affect the fairness of the financial statements and does not also have an impact on opinions. Thus, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government can still obtain WTP opinions from BPK, because there is no regional loss from these findings," said Syaefuloh in his statement, Sunday, August 8th.
In order for the public to understand, Syaefuloh explained the three classifications of BPK's findings. First, the findings indicated regional losses, which followed up in the form of returning funds to the state/regional treasury.
Second, if there is a lack of regional revenue, such as rent/fines that have not been collected or taxes that have not been paid, the follow-up is to collect and deposit them into the state/regional treasury.
Third, administrative findings in which none of the statutory provisions are violated and there is no follow-up obligation to return/deposit funds to the state/regional treasury.
“A number of findings that were widely discussed by the public yesterday are included in the classification of administrative findings. If we look at the BPK's recommendations in the report on the results of its examination, there is no recommendation to deposit. The recommendations are for future system improvements," he said.
Furthermore, he said that all recommendations had been followed up by the relevant regional apparatus organizations, such as instructions from the head of service and warnings from the head of the service for PPKs to be more orderly in administration.
Then, the follow-up has also been reported to BPK by attaching evidence of follow-up and has been discussed in the tripartite forum for Discussion on Follow-up to BPK Examination Results.
"From the results of the discussion, Alhamdulillah, BPK stated that this has been followed up," he added.
