The South Kalimantan Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) announced the determination of the pair of Governor and Deputy Governor of South Kalimantan, H Sahbirin Noor - and H Muhidin or "BirinMu" the results of the 2020 Pilkada.

"With the presence of a definitive governor and deputy governor, we hope that South Kalimantan's development will run more smoothly," said the chairman of the South Kalimantan DPRD, Dr (HC) H Supian HK, in Banjarmasin, quoted by Antara, Thursday, August 5.

He admitted, during the leadership of Acting Governor Dr Safrizal ZA who is also the Director General (Dirjen) of the Regional Administration of the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) of the Republic of Indonesia, development in South Kalimantan also went smoothly.

The announcement of the appointment of the BirinMu pair as Governor and Deputy Governor of the local province was delivered at the plenary meeting of the South Kalimantan DPRD.

The South Kalimantan DPRD through its chairman hopes that there will soon be a Decree (SK) on the appointment of the BirinMu pair so that it won't take too long for there to be a definitive governor and deputy governor.

Meanwhile, the Acting Governor of South Kalimantan in his speech stated that he would continue the determination of the BirinMu pair to the President through the Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri) of the Republic of Indonesia to obtain an appointment decree.

"God willing, not too long ago, South Kalimantan will have a definitive governor and vice governor again," said Safrizal.
