JAKARTA - The execution prosecutor at the East Nusa Tenggara Province High Prosecutor's Office executed four convicts in the corruption case of working capital investment funds at Bank NTT Surabaya Branch. This case cost the state more than Rp128 billion.

"Earlier, the team of executor prosecutors from the NTT High Prosecutor's Office and the Kupang City Prosecutor's Office carried out the execution of the four convicts to serve prison sentences according to the Supreme Court's decision," said Head of the Legal Information and Public Relations Section of the NTT High Prosecutor's Office, Abdul Hakim. , August 5th.

Abdul Hakim emphasized that the execution process was carried out after the NTT High Prosecutor's Office and the Kupang City District Attorney received a copy of the cassation decision from the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia which sentenced four defendants in the corruption case of working capital investment funds at Bank NTT Surabaya Branch. namely Siswanto Kodrata, Yohanes Ronal Sulayman, William Kodrata and Stefanus Sulayman with different lengths of sentence.

"The execution process is carried out at the Kupang Detention Center, because the four detainees are still in the process of being detained while the NTT High Prosecutor's Office files an appeal," said Abdul Hakim.

He explained that the execution process for the four convicts was carried out because the decision of the Supreme Court which had been received by the NTT Prosecutor's Office was inkrah.

According to Abdul Hakim, there are still three defendants who do not yet have an cassation decision from the Supreme Court in the corruption case of working capital investment funds at Bank NTT Surabaya Branch which cost the state Rp128 billion.
