CCTV Recorded Ojol Attribute Mode Theft Action

JAKARTA - The action of the gang of theft of gas cylinders and cooking tools in online motorcycle taxi mode was caught on CCTV surveillance cameras in two different locations, Ciracas area, East Jakarta. Of the two perpetrators, one of them is a woman.

From the CCTV camera footage, it is seen that a man came using a motorcycle with an online motorcycle taxi mode. The perpetrators carried out the theft in the Mustika Ratu area, Ciracas. In the action, the perpetrators took away two gas cylinders and a stove from a closed merchant stall.

Meanwhile, at a different location, on Jalan Update, Kelapa Dua Wetan, Ciracas, a gang of 3kg gas cylinder thieves also took action by pretending to be shopping. The perpetrator, known to be a woman, managed to outwit the shop owner.

For this incident, residents claimed to be restless with the rampant theft. Adi Putra, one of the residents around the location of the incident, said that theft has often occurred in a similar mode in this area.

"The perpetrators carried out their actions when conditions were quiet. The perpetrators broke the lock before stealing the gas cylinder," he told VOI, Wednesday, August 4.

Residents hope that the police can immediately arrest the perpetrators of the crime through CCTV evidence.
