JAKARTA – The case of abuse by A alias Gogon (30) against his father-in-law, Suyono, has a complete background. Starting from economic problems to household.

In addition to being unemployed for a long time, apparently the marriage of the perpetrator with his wife did not get the blessing of his two in-laws.

The Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit (Reskrim) of the Cengkareng Police, Iptu Bintang, confirmed this motive. According to the perpetrator's statement from the results of the investigation, the perpetrator's marriage relationship was not approved by the in-laws.

"From the information on the results of the investigation, from the start, the father-in-law did not approve of the marriage between his son and the perpetrator," said Iptu Bintang when confirmed, Wednesday, August 4.

The disharmony from the start made the family relationship less conducive. In fact, the last words of the victim made the perpetrator feel hurt. Gogon was so angry that he was desperate to hit his father-in-law's head with a crowbar.

"At that time, his father-in-law said that you had been married for a long time, how come you don't have anything. Because the last time he was unemployed, he didn't have a job," added Bintang.

As a result of his actions, A alias Gogon was charged with Article 351 of the Criminal Code concerning torture to death with a threat of seven years in prison.
