Kasatreskrim Polrestabes Bandung AKBP Rudy Tri Handoyo said the incident occurred at around 13.00 WIB. Reportedly, the victim was immediately rushed to the hospital after the PMI team arrived at the location.

Meanwhile, Jajang Jaenudin (35) who is a witness said that the victim appeared to have been lying on Jalan Wastukancana, in front of Bandung City Hall. According to Jajang, the victim appeared to have suffered injuries to his neck and stomach. The victim allegedly injured himself with a knife.
"The victim was taken to the RSHS using the Bandung City PMI Ambulance Car," said Jajang.
