Magnitude 6.0 Earthquake Shakes Southwest Of Mukomuko, No Tsunami Potential

JAKARTA - According to the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), the epicenter of the earthquake was at sea at a depth of 10 km at coordinates 3.17 South Latitude and 100.18 Longitude. East, 123 km Southwest of Mukomuko.

The earthquake was felt in Mukomuko with a scale of III MMI and Curup on a scale of II MMI.

BMKG stated that the earthquake did not have the potential to cause a tsunami.
