BOGOR - The Bogor City Government, West Java has prepared oxygen filling stations in each local sub-district for the needs of residents exposed to COVID-19 who are undergoing self-isolation (isoman) at home and need oxygen.
"In each sub-district, five 6m3 oxygen cylinders are provided every day for the needs of residents exposed to COVID-19", said the Mayor of Bogor, Bima Arya, while reviewing the oxygen supply at the North Bogor District Office, quoted by Antara, Thursday, July 29.
According to Bima Arya, residents exposed to COVID-19 who are undergoing self-isolation at home can refill oxygen at the sub-district office, by bringing small tubes.
"The filling of oxygen at the sub-district office is free for residents exposed to COVID-19 who are self-isolating, as long as the supplies last", he said.
Bima explained that the provision of five 6m3 oxygen cylinders at the sub-district office was to anticipate the needs of residents who were undergoing self-isolation.
"Don't let people die because they can't get oxygen", he said.
Because, the occupancy rate of positive COVID-19 patients in hospitals is still high, and there are also many people exposed to COVID-19 who undergo self-isolation at home. "There are about 3.000 people", he said.
