JAKARTA - Monday, July 19, PT General Energy Bali (GEB) PLTU Celukan Bawang, Gerokgak District completed vaccination for all foreign workers (TKA) from China. This is PT GEB's number one contribution in dealing with COVID-19.

The final stage of vaccination was held at the PLTU Celukan Bawang. As before, the vaccination was carried out with the help of medical personnel from the Tangguwisia General Hospital.

"All Chinese foreign workers have completed the second vaccine," said General Affair of PT GEB PLTU Celukan Bawang Indriati Tanu Tanto, contacted by VOI, Tuesday, July 27.

Prior to the last vaccination yesterday, PT GEB had held the first stage of vaccination for 94 foreign workers on June 21. There were 93 foreign workers from China and one Japanese worker who took the vaccination.

In addition to the 94 foreign workers, six local workers also underwent the second stage of vaccination that day. Yesterday's vaccination participants were followed by employees from several fields of work.

"These six local workers are workers who have not received the first or second stage of vaccine," said Indriati.

PT GEB strives for equal vaccination. Prior to vaccinating foreign workers, PT GEB first vaccinated local workers on April 11 and May 9.

Strict protocol

In addition to ensuring that vaccinations are evenly distributed, PT GEB also applies strict health protocols in the company's operational activities. PT GEB does not accept guests unless it is very important.

Even guests who come are required to bring the results of the antigen. In addition, the discipline of washing hands, maintaining distance and wearing masks is also maintained. Discipline is also accompanied by a culture of reminding each other.

Everything that PT GEB has done, said Indri, is a form of alignment with the Indonesian government's appeal as well. This is in line with the central government's appeal so that vaccine recipients do not neglect the process.

"We want to follow the central government's policy in a disciplined manner. Don't just take the vaccine and ignore the prokes, it's not good," explained Indri some time ago.
