Deputy Governor Of DKI Admits Cannot Place Apparatus To Supervise 20 Minutes Of Meal Duration At Every Stall

JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria admitted that the DKI Provincial Government cannot place all PPKM Level 4 supervisors to monitor compliance with the 20-minute meal duration in every food stall. Because the number of officers is limited.

"It is impossible for officers to present every food stall," said Riza at DKI City Hall, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, July 27.

Riza said that every community must instill awareness to enforce the PPKM Level 4 rules in Jakarta at this time. Cooperation is needed with the community so that mobility restrictions can be effective in reducing COVID-19 cases.

"We are working together. So, we need awareness. Fighting the COVID-19 pandemic requires good cooperation, synergy, collaboration, togetherness, mutual support, mutual assistance, mutual assistance, and most importantly our awareness," he said. Riza.

Riza also asked all elements of society including the community to volunteers to be actively involved to help implement the PPKM Level 4 rules.

"We encourage the community, community, all volunteers to be actively involved in helping. Campuses, business entities, KADIN, HIPMI, KNPI, Menwa, alumni, are all actively involved to help ensure our success for the Level 4 PPKM program," he explained.

It is known, the rules related to the time limit are contained in the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs Number 24 of 2021 concerning PPKM Level 4 and Level 3 COVID-19 in Java-Bali Island.

One of the provisions in the regulation states that the implementation of eating/drinking activities in public places such as food stalls or warteg, street vendors, hawker stalls and the like are allowed to open with strict health protocols until 20.00 local time.

A maximum of three diners eat at the venue and a maximum meal time of 20 minutes.
