MAKASSAR - The manager of the Nurul Jihad Tahfiz Al-Quran House, Abdul Wahid, reported that a member of the Pangkep Regency DPRD, South Sulawesi with the initials A for alleged threats. A is also said to have closed the access to the back door of the local tahfiz's house with a stone wall.

According to him, there is no justification for anyone to close the road access, especially since the land is part of public facilities (Fasum). The report was carried out because his speech was considered too excessive and considered demeaning to others.

In addition, access to the back door, which was closed by the council members, blocked the way for the students to go to the mosque to carry out worship. Allegedly, the person concerned was irritated and disturbed by the activities of the students.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Panakkukang Police, AKP Andi Ali Surya, confirmed that residents had reported unpleasant words threatening to close the residents' back door access with a wall.

"Yes, it's true, it has been received (the report). Currently, the investigation stage has been carried out. We have also sent a letter of clarification regarding the report of the said threats to the reported party, "said Andi Ali.

The police took persuasive efforts by summoning the person concerned and the reporting party for mediation. However, if it reaches a dead end, it will continue to the investigation stage.

"It is possible that this case will go to the investigation stage, then a case will be held if the person concerned is not cooperative. We had time to go to the location, but the reported house was locked with iron chains, no one was there," he said.
