A Total Of 6.64 Million DKI Jakarta Residents Have Been Vaccinated With The First Dose Dosis

JAKARTA - Based on data up to July 20, 2021, which coincides with Eid al-Adha, the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta noted that 6.64 million citizens had received the first dose of vaccine injection. This amount is equivalent to 75.4 percent of the target of 8.81 million citizens.

Based on data from the "corona.jakarta.go.id" page in Jakarta, Tuesday, July 20 until 10:00 WIB, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government also noted that as many as 2.02 million residents in DKI Jakarta had received two doses of vaccination with a percentage of 22.9 percent. .

"We encourage the whole community, let's be active at the vaccine site, invite family, neighbors, invite colleagues," said DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan.

The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is boosting vaccinations despite the Eid al-Adha 1442 Hijri holiday with a total of 108,039 people receiving the first dose of vaccination, or higher than the vaccination on July 19, 2021, which reached 53,538 vaccinations.

The portion of the first dose of vaccination in a day in Jakarta reached 20 percent of the total vaccinations held on July 20, 2021 throughout Indonesia, reaching 535,668 vaccinations.

Meanwhile, the number of people who had been vaccinated with two complete doses on July 20, 2021 reached 19,473 people.

That number reached 12.1 percent of the total complete vaccinations throughout Indonesia, reaching 161,119 in one day.

Anies targets 8.81 million people to get vaccinated and of that number, 7.5 million people in the capital are estimated to have received vaccinations until August 17, 2021.

The COVID vaccination in Jakarta is currently also targeting residents over the age of 12 to achieve group immunity.
