Semarang Receives Mobile Laboratory Assistance And Vaccines From BIN

SEMARANG - The Semarang City Government, Central Java, received mobile laboratory assistance and supplies of COVID-19 vaccine from the State Intelligence Agency (BIN).

Semarang Mayor Hendrar Prihadi said this assistance was part of efforts to fight the spread of COVID-19.

"The public is expected to understand efforts to fight COVID-19 through accelerating vaccinations and leading a new normal life with strict health protocols," he said, quoted by Antara, Monday, July 19.

Until now, he said, the achievement of vaccination in Semarang City has reached 634 thousand people.

This number, continued the Mayor who is familiarly called Hendi, has reached about half of the target population that must be vaccinated to achieve communal immunity.

"Through this assistance, it is hoped that the number of COVID-19 cases can go down soon and people can return to their normal activities soon," he said.
