Nine Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Gates Apply For Opening And Closing, This Is The Location

BEKASI - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) stated that as many as nine toll gates for the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road segment imposed a situational opening and closing scheme related to emergency PPKM.

"Yes, a total of nine GT (toll gates) on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road are blocked," said Jasa Marga's Public Relations Officer for the Jakarta-Cikampek Branch Hendra Damanik in Bekasi, West Java, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, July 13.

Hendra explained that the nine points for the implementation of traffic restrictions and controls were in the Bekasi City, Bekasi Regency, and Karawang Regency areas.

In the Bekasi City area, he said, there are two toll gates, each GT Bekasi Barat 1 and GT Bekasi Timur 2, which are subject to situational inspections and diversion of vehicles to Jakarta.

Four toll gates in the Bekasi Regency area, namely GT Tambun which inspects and diverts vehicles to Jakarta and Cikampek.

Then GT Cikarang Barat 4, GT Cibatu, and GT Cikarang Timur which imposed a situational inspection and diversion of vehicles to Jakarta.

Furthermore, there are three points in the Karawang Regency area, namely GT Karawang Barat 1 and GT Karawang Timur 1 which inspects and diverts vehicles to Karawang and GT Cikampek which applies inspection and diversion of vehicles to Cikampek.

Hendra explained that the implementation of the blocking of the opening and closing scheme was the authority of the police while his party supported the implementation of traffic restrictions and control on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road section.

"This policy supports the government's efforts to suppress the surge in COVID-19 cases through the provision of Emergency PPKM," he said.
