Calls COVID-19 Not The Cause Of Death, Doctor Lois Owien Arrested By Police

JAKARTA - Doctor Lois Owien has been secured by Polda Metro Jaya. He was arrested allegedly related to statements made by people who died not because of COVID-19, but because of excessive drug interactions.

The Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Public Relations Division, Kombes Ahmad Ramadhan, confirmed this. Ramadhan said, Doctor Lois Owien was secured by Polda Metro Jaya on Sunday, July 11.

"He was arrested. He was arrested by the Cyber Crimes unit of the Polda Metro Jaya," Ramadhan told reporters, Monday, July 12.

Even though he confirmed the arrest, Ramadhan did not want to explain clearly about the case that ensnared Doctor Lois Owien.

It can only be said that the case will be presented in detail by the Polda Metro Jaya. It is planned that the submission of the handling of the case will be carried out this afternoon.

"Later this afternoon we will release it so we don't have to be alone," he said.

For information, doctor Lois Owien in all events mentioned that patients or people who died were not caused by the COVID-19 virus. Rather, because of excessive drug interactions.

In addition, he also said that the drugs used for COVID-19 patients cause complications in the body.
