DKI Head Of Transportation Agency: Ojol And Online Taxis Must Have STRP Bags During Emergency PPKM

JAKARTA - Head of the DKI Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo, emphasized that online motorcycle taxi (ojol) and online taxi drivers are required to have a worker registration certificate (STRP) during emergency PPKM.

This rule is related to the SE of the Ministry of Transportation Number 50 of 2021 which requires Jabodetabek travelers to show STRP. This rule is excluded for ASN who are only required with a letter of assignment from a minimum echelon II official.

"For public transportation services, for example, we have imposed some restrictions on regular transportation services. Meanwhile, online motorcycle taxis are allowed to deliver goods. But indeed, we ask these workers to continue to apply for STRP, the drivers," said Syafrin to reporters, Friday, July 9.

“So when the person in question travels, crossing the barrier, it remains only to show that the person concerned has a worker registration certificate. When the passenger is carrying the passenger, the passenger must also be able to show the STRP. So there are two. The only thing is whether they have been vaccinated once or twice, then there is the STRP,” said Syafrin.

The rules for obtaining STRP also apply to residents who want to enter Jakarta from surrounding areas. For example, if a resident takes a bus from the Bogor terminal, the STRP will be checked.

"Later on at the terminal, they will be asked which STRP if they have activities in the essential and critical categories because there is a prohibition on mobility during emergency PPKM, namely those that are non-essential are prohibited from carrying out activities," he said.

As previously reported, the STRP Policy is contained in the Governor of DKI Jakarta's Appeal Number 10 of 2021 and the Instruction of the Governor of DKI Jakarta Number 44 of 2021 concerning the Implementation of Population Mobility Control in the Implementation of Restrictions on Community Activities for the Emergency COVID-19.

Head of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Investment and One Stop Integrated Service (DPMPTSP), Benni Aguscandra, reminded companies in the essential and critical sectors to take care of making worker registration letters (STRP).

Benni said, STRP must be owned by workers in essential and critical sector companies who must work outside the home during the Emergency PPKM period. STRP is registered by the company.

"This STRP is to control the mobility of residents in the DKI Jakarta area so that it runs in accordance with the provisions of the law and to make it easier for joint officers in the field to identify residents who are allowed to carry out mobility or activities during the COVID-19 Emergency PPKM period," said Benni in his statement, Thursday, 8 July.

Benni said the DKI Provincial Government is collaborating with the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN) to carry out electronic certification (Certification Authority) on the output of permits and non-licensing to ensure an efficient and secure exchange of information.
