Classic Reasons Nia Ramadhani-Ardi Bakrie Use Drugs: Work Pressure

JAKARTA - The police stated that Nia Ramadhani and her husband, Ardi Bakrie, had been consuming shabu for several months. Both claimed to have consumed meth because of work pressures.

"(Reason) The pressure of work, then also with a lot of work pressure. Those are classic reasons," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Yusri Yunus to reporters, Thursday, July 8.

In the initial examination, Nia Ramadhani admitted to consuming methamphetamine since March 2021. But investigators emphasized that Kombes Yusri did not just believe it. All information from Nia Ramadhani will be investigated.

"We are still exploring how long the person concerned uses, if the initial confession was about 4-5 months, yes, but we are still investigating this," said Yusri.

In addition, investigators are still developing the drug case. Currently, the focus of deepening is on the supplier of methamphetamine to Nia Ramadhani.

"Including the supplier from where we are pursuing," said Kombes Yusri.

Nia Ramadhani was arrested at her residence in Pondok Indah, South Jakarta. Nia Ramadhani was arrested after the police arrested her driver with the initials ZN on Wednesday, July 7th.

Meanwhile, her husband, Ardi Bakrie, surrendered. He came to the Central Jakarta Metro Police after being contacted by his wife. In this case, the police confiscated 0.78 grams of crystal methamphetamine and a suction device.
