Cheating On Operations During The Emergency PPKM Period, The Managing Director And Company Managers In Jakarta Become Suspect

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya has named three suspects from two companies that violated the rules for the Implementation of Emergency Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM). Two of the suspects are the bosses of each company.

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Yusri Yunus said the first company, namely PT DPI which is located in the Tanah Abang area, Central Jakarta, investigators named two suspects.

"There are nine people (arrested) and two suspects have been determined. First, the initials are RRK, she is the Managing Director. Then the second is AHV, this is the HR manager from PT DPI. These two people are named suspects," said Kombes Yusri to reporters, Wednesday, July 7th.

Then for the second company, PT LMI, which is located in the Sahid Building, Sudirman, investigators named a suspect. Previously there were 5 people who had been arrested from PT LMI.

"We have determined as a suspect a woman whose initials are SD. She is the CEO of PT LMI," said Yusri.

Kombes Yusri explained that the three people from 2 companies in Jakarta were named suspects for violating the emergency PPKM regulations. Both companies continue to operate even though they are not included in the exemption category for 100 percent work from home (WFH).

"From the results of the inspection, they know that there is an Emergency PPKM, but the direction is that the company will continue to run," he said.

The three suspects were charged with Law number 4 of 1984 concerning disease outbreaks in Article 14 paragraph 1 in conjunction with Articles 55 and 56. The threat is 1 year in prison and a fine of Rp. 100 million.
