Next Week Grass Market Flats Can Be Places For COVID-19 Isolation

JAKARTA - The preparation of the Pasar Grass flats (rusun) which will be used as a place for isolation of COVID-19 patients continues to be accelerated. It is targeted that all will be completed next week.

"It must be in operation for at most one week. Because it is urgent," said the Field Commander of the Wisma Atlet Hospital, Lt. Col. TNI, Drg. M Arifin in his statement, Sunday, July 4.

Acceleration of preparation, continued Arifin, because the number of positive cases of COVID-19 continues to increase every day.

In addition, for the current process BNPB has started supplying some of the equipment needed. Based on data from the Deputy for Logistics and Equipment of BNPB, the equipment supplied such as mattresses, pillows and others.

"We have sent a number of equipment including 375 beds, 2,000 pillows, 786 mattresses, 130 bed linens, 130 pillowcases and 150 mattresses from the business world," said Lieutenant Colonel Arifin.

In addition, the Head of BNPB, Lt. Gen. Ganip Warsito, said that other equipment would be delivered in stages. Completeness of the equipment to meet the standards that have been set for centralized self-isolation.

" Hangers for clothes , towels , dippers , buckets , wardrobes must also be prepared , " said Ganip .

For information, the capacity provided for isolation in the Pasar Rumput Flats while there are as many as 698 dwellings, each of which will be filled with three beds.
