JAKARTA - Chairman of the Democratic Party, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, conveyed his condolences for the death of artist and Democratic politician Jane Shalimar, on Sunday at 04.20 WIB and remembered him as a good figure.

"It's really sad. Jane is a kind person, who always greets everyone with a smile and a laugh," AHY said in a written statement, Sunday, July 4, as reported by Antara.

Jane died at the age of 41, after previously being treated for COVID-19 positive on June 24, 2021. "She (Jane) has fought with all her might to fight Covid, and can recover as usual. But fate wants something different," said AHY.

Jane is buried at Jeruk Purut TPU, South Jakarta, and will use the COVID-19 protocol. Jane is one of the administrators in the DPP Democratic Party group for the 2020-2025 period. Jane's political career began in 2009 when she participated in the legislative election through the Democratic Party.
