Bali Governor Asks For PCR Swab Fees To Drop To IDR 700 Thousand, Prepares Vaccination At Wantilan

DENPASAR - Bali Governor Wayan Koster asked his staff to prepare a COVID-19 vaccination at the Bali DPRD Wantilan. This vaccination is specifically for residents who will leave Bali during the emergency PPKM period.

"People who need a vaccine as a condition for traveling can visit the Bali DPRD's wantilan to get an injection of the COVID-19 vaccine," said Head of the Bali Health Service Ketut Suarjaya in a written statement, Saturday, July 3.

The COVID-19 vaccination service at the Bali DPRD Wantilan will start tomorrow, Sunday, July 4. The vaccination, which is managed by the Health Office, will serve the community starting at 08.00-14.00 WITA.

Prospective vaccine recipients must be in good health and will be screened before getting vaccinated. In addition, residents are required to bring an ID card or Family Card (KK). Meanwhile, COVID-19 survivors can get the vaccine three months after being negative for COVID-19.

Suarjaya hopes that in carrying out vaccinations, people will prioritize health protocols.

"Especially in emergency PPKM conditions, in carrying out vaccinations we are obliged to implement a healthy and COVID-19-free lifestyle such as wearing standard masks correctly, washing hands, maintaining distance and of course obeying existing rules," he added.

In addition, the Governor of Bali also issued the latest directive to reduce the price of PCR swabs and rapid antigen tests.

According to Suarjaya, Governor Koster asked for the cost of the PCR swab test to be reduced to Rp700 thousand. Likewise, the rapid antigen swab test was asked to reduce the cost to Rp. 100,000.

"We hope that all health laboratories in Bali will adjust," said Suarjaya.
