JAKARTA - The Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto praised the dedication and sincerity of the health workers and called them the nation's knights against COVID-19.

"Once again I thank you. You are the nation's knights to fight COVID-19. Keep the spirit to serve the people. No people should be left behind and not vaccinated," said the TNI Commander to the health workers who served as vaccinators at the RW 02 Community Hall, Gunung Sahari Utara, Pademangan, Jakarta, quoted by Antara, Saturday, July 3.

The TNI Commander said he understood that health workers were tired of working to treat patients during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Therefore, Marshal Hadi praised the spirit of the health workers, because they still chose to carry out their duties even though many were tired.

“I see that you guys have a strong passion for fighting COVID-19. Therefore, I remind health workers to maintain a good intake of nutrients and vitamins. Then, every time there is a task, you have to carry out PCR first," said the TNI Commander.

Balai Warga RW 02, which is near the Rajawali Market, is one of the COVID-19 vaccination points. At least, there are 27 health workers who serve as vaccinators in that place.

Of that number, 10 of them are students of special career officers for TNI health workers, four from the Army Health Education Center, 10 vaccinators from RSDC Wisma Atlet Kemayoran, and three from local health centers.

After hearing the messages from the TNI Commander, the health workers answered in unison: "Ready".

Not only that, the TNI Commander also conveyed to local health workers that his party would always support vaccination activities and the treatment of COVID-19 patients.

A resident representative who was met at the location, Yanti expressed her gratitude for the attention of the TNI Commander, National Police Chief, and government representatives.

The visit to the community hall in Pademangan is part of a series of activities by the TNI Commander reviewing the implementation of vaccinations and Emergency PPKM in Jakarta, Saturday.

During the activity, the TNI Commander went around with the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo and the BNPB Head Lt. Gen. Ganip Warsito.
