JAKARTA - The Southeast Sulawesi (Southeast Sulawesi) COVID-19 Task Force Team recorded new positive cases today in the province increased by 100 people and two people died.

Spokesperson for the Southeast Sulawesi COVID-19 Task Force La Ode Rabiul Awal in Kendari, Thursday, said the development of COVID-19 cases in the province today has more new positive cases than recovered patients.

"Today's new positive cases increased by 100 to 11,478 people and two more deaths," he said as quoted by Antara, Friday, July 2.

He detailed the addition of the most positive cases of COVID-19 in Southeast Sulawesi in Kendari City as many as 37 people, Baubau 19, Wakatobi District 24, Konawe 11, Bomana three, two each from Muna and North Kolaka and one each from West Muna and Buton. North.

Meanwhile, the case of death was a 51-year-old male from Kendari, then a 56-year-old male from East Kolaka Regency.

"So that the total number of deaths due to COVID-19 to date in Southeast Sulawesi has increased to 238," he said.

Rabiul said, for recovered cases, 41 people also increased, with details of Kendari City 40 people and Bombana one person.

"The accumulation of recovered patients from COVID-19 in Southeast Sulawesi to date has increased to 10,337 people," he said.

Rabiul reminded all parties to continue to be disciplined in implementing health protocols starting from wearing masks, maintaining distance, diligently washing hands, avoiding crowds and reducing mobility, especially now that COVID-19 cases are increasing.

"Health protocols and vaccinations are important in reducing our number of cases and breaking the chain of transmission of COVID-19, which is currently starting to increase," added the man who is familiarly called Doctor Wayonk.
