Food Stalls In Medan Sealed For Violating Bobby Nasution's Rules

MEDAN - The Health Protocol Patrol Team (prokes) and Supervision of the Implementation of Micro-scale Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) sealed the food stalls for violating the Circular (SE) of the Mayor of Medan Bobby Nasution.

"The business actor who was sealed, namely the Yap Kumis Cafe on Brigadier General Hamid Street, Medan Johor, Tuesday (29/6) night," said the Head of Legislation for the Medan City Satpol PP, Ardhani Syahputra in Medan, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, June 30.

Ardhani said the sealing was carried out because these business actors were often found by officers repeatedly not complying with the SE Mayor of Medan No.440/5352 concerning Micro-Based PPKM and Optimizing the COVID-19 Handling Command Post.

Based on the circular, he continued, the operational hours of culinary business actors in the city of Medan are only until 20.00 WIB from before 21.00 WIB.

"Before sealing, the officers also asked all visitors to disperse and pay for their food and drinks," said Ardhani.

The Mayor of Medan, Bobby Nasution, previously emphasized that the Medan City Government was tightening health protocols and monitoring micro-scale PPKM in order to suppress the spread of COVID-19 to the village level.

"This Medan Mayor's Circular is valid from June 23 to July 5, 2021. For those who do not heed, then sanctions will be imposed according to the provisions," said Bobby.
