JAKARTA - The police explained the reasons behind the Mitsubishi Pajero driver with the initials OK alias OT who abused the container truck driver. Based on his confession, he did not accept being honked by the victim.

"(The perpetrator) felt that the truck's horn was too loud, so he became emotional and then hit," said the Head of Public Relations of the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Yusri Yunus, to reporters on Monday, June 28.

With that trivial reason, the perpetrators even dared to hit the victim with a stick. In fact, local residents have tried to intervene but the perpetrators arrogantly continued to persecute and break the glass of the container truck.

"The victim was beaten until his bones cracked. During the first descent, it was possible to see through the glass,"

"Even after stopping the vehicle, it still came down again, breaking the glass from the truck," continued Yusri.

However, Yusri said the perpetrators must undergo an examination. Because he was recently arrested and the information presented is still based on his confession.

"That's why we are still investigating what the main motive for this victim is," said Yusri.

Previously, it was reported that the police arrested the Pajero driver with the initials OK alias OT at Soekarno-Hatta Airport on Tuesday, June 28. He was arrested after fleeing to several cities.

The incidents of abuse and destruction were recorded by other road users who were passing by and went viral on social media.

In the recorded video uploaded to the Instagram account @romansasopirtruck, this incident began when the Pajero car stopped in front of a container truck.

Next, the driver of the car climbed to the front door of the truck carrying a bat and hitting the window of the truck and then the driver who was in the driver's seat. The incident seemed to create traffic jams around the scene.

The account explained that the incident began when the Pajero car stopped suddenly so the container truck behind it honked its horn. Unaccepted, the Pajero driver then got off and carried out torture and violence.

After that, the perpetrator left the scene and continued his journey. Meanwhile, the container driver named Egi suffered bruises and abrasions on his body.
