7 Caucasians In Badung Bali Sanctioned By Fines For Violating Prokes

BADUNG - The judicial operation conducted by the Badung Regency Government has netted seven foreign nationals (WNA) who violated health protocols at Batu Bolong Beach and at Segara Perancak Field, Tibubeneng Village, Badung, Bali.

"Violators are immediately given sanctions in the form of physical actions and reprimands. In addition, a fine of Rp. 100,000 is also applied to seven foreigners and one Indonesian citizen who is proven to have violated the health procedures," said Dandim 1611/Badung Col. June.

Yudana said that during this routine judicial operation, eight people were found to be violators of health procedures, including eight people who were proven not to use masks, and four people who didn't use masks correctly.

After that, the violators were immediately given sanctions in the form of a warning and also a fine of Rp. 100,000 to seven foreigners and one Indonesian citizen.

"Hopefully, the activities carried out in the form of the PPKM Joint Operation can be useful in preventing the increasing spread of COVID-19 in the Badung Regency area," he said.

Judicial operations continue to be held to secure the implementation of restrictions on community activities (PPKM) in accordance with Bali Governor Regulation Number 10 of 2021 concerning the Implementation of Discipline and Law Enforcement of Health Protocols.

This is an effort to prevent and control COVID-19 in the order of life in the new era as well as regarding the extension of the implementation of restrictions on micro-based community activities in each village/kelurahan and traditional village.

"This activity was carried out in an area where it was suspected that there were several activities that might cause crowds, so the operation was carried out on a massive scale," he said.

This judicial operation was carried out by a joint task force from the Kodim 1611/Badung through its ranks at the Koramil 1611-03/Kuta together with the North Kuta Police and the Badung Regency Civil Service Police Unit.
