JAKARTA - Chairman of the Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM) Ahmad Taufan Damanik confirmed the plan to request information from the National Intelligence Agency (BIN) and the TNI Strategic Intelligence Agency (BAIS) today.

The request relates to allegations of human rights violations in the National Insight Test Assessment (TWK) process which was reported by 75 employees of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) who did not pass and were disabled.

However, until this afternoon there had been no confirmation from the two institutions that participated in the TWK implementation.

"Yes (the request for a summons is scheduled, ed). But there has been no confirmation from them," said Taufan to reporters, Wednesday, June 23.

There are a number of things that are planned to be explored at the two institutions, such as testing instruments and assessment methods during the TWK implementation. In addition, Komnas HAM will also confirm the information submitted by the KPK and the State Civil Service Agency (BKN).

If BAIS TNI and BIN are not present, Komnas HAM will ask again when they can be questioned. Moreover, the presence of these two institutions is considered necessary to add to the light of the TWK polemic.

"We expect his arrival to add to the light of this problem," he said.

It was previously reported that Komnas HAM had sent summons to BIN and BNPT to conduct an investigation regarding the TWK of KPK employees.

BIN and BNPT are institutions that participate in the process of implementing TWK as a condition for transferring the status of anti-corruption commission employees. In addition to these two institutions, BKN is also collaborating with the Army Psychology Service, the Army Intelligence Center, and the Strategic Intelligence Agency (BAIS TNI).

"We have sent summons to BIN, BNPT," said Komnas HAM Commissioner for Monitoring and Investigation Mohammad Choirul Anam at a press conference at his office, Jalan Latuharhary, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, June 22.

With the summons sent, he hopes that BIN and BNPT can attend and provide confirmation. Thus, the polemic related to the implementation of the test which allegedly violates human rights can become clear.

"We ask all parties to come to Komnas so that the information is clearer, the brighter the event that the wider public is waiting for, so that it will be clear where it is going," said Anam
