Two Punk Boys In Tulungagung Arrested By Police For Beating

JAKARTA - Two punk children were arrested by the police in Tulungagung Regency, East Java. They were arrested for ganging up on Chandra Dwi Santoso who was protecting TM (17), a punk girl from the same group for attempted rape.

"Yes, we have arrested two suspects for the beating after receiving a complaint from victim Chandra Dwi Santoso," said Tulungagung Police Head of Public Relations Iptu Trisakti Saiful Hidayat in Tulungagung, as reported by Antara, Monday, June 22.

The two perpetrators of the assault and attempted rape had the initials JN (18) and ANA (18). Both beat Chandra who is actually still his own fellow punk.

Apparently JN and ANA were annoyed with Chandra who got in the way of their attempts to tarnish TM. "The two suspects are angry because the plan failed because the witness TM was protected by the victim," he explained.

Trisakti explained, the first suspect was detained at the Kemuning Post near the Sembung Bridge, Tulungagung a week ago, Monday, June 14.

Meanwhile, the second suspect was arrested when he came to the Tulungagung City Police, related to a minor crime he had committed.

The incident took place in the vacant land area in front of Indomaret, Sembung Village, Tulungagung on Saturday, June 12, early in the morning, at around 02.30 WIB.

The two perpetrators, JN and ANA, had bad intentions to tarnish TM, his fellow punk boy who was fast asleep in the same place.

Realizing the threat, TM then asked for protection from Chandra, his fellow punk who was in the same location.

The attitude of the victim who got in the way made JN and ANA emotional and then beat Chandra to a pulp.

The victim also suffered bruising and tearing on his left lip and a lump on the head. The case was then reported to the Tulungagung City Police.
