Alfedri Reappointed As Regent Of Siak, PAN Reminds Work Focus

JAKARTA - Chairman of DPW PAN Riau Alfedri has been sworn in as Regent of Siak, Riau. Alfedri was previously inaugurated in March 2019 to replace Syamsuar, who was the Governor of Riau.

Alfredi was officially re-inaugurated with Husni Merza as Deputy Regent of Siak at the Riau Governor's hall, June 21.

For the inauguration, Deputy Secretary General of the DPP PAN Irvan Herman congratulated his cadre because it was again given the mandate to lead Siak.

"This is a matter of pride for Riau PAN cadres," said Irvan to reporters, Monday, June 21.

According to him, Alfedri is one of the best members of the Riau PAN who is now 'waqfed' to serve the people of Siak. Irvan hopes that after being sworn in as regent and deputy regent, the Alfedri-Husni Merza pair can immediately focus on working for the community in their area.

“Now the main focus must be the people of Siak. Good job, continue to serve the people of Siak," said Irvan.

It is known that the Alfedri-Husni Merza pair were determined to win by the General Election Commission (KPU) of Siak Regency through a plenary meeting for the recapitulation of the vote count for the last December 9 regional election, Tuesday, December 15, 2020.

Candidate pair number 2 Alfedri-Husni Merza won the highest vote of 101,109 or 56.13 percent. This pair swept clean and won in 14 sub-districts in Siak Regency.
