ICW Says BKN Has Submitted TWK Results, Asks KPK Not To Give Hoax Information

JAKARTA - Indonesia Corruption Watch (ICW) has asked the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) not to provide false information or hoaxes related to the results of the National Insight Test (TWK) as a condition for the transfer of employee status.

He conveyed this in response to the statement of Acting KPK Spokesperson for Enforcement Sector Ali Fikri who said his party would coordinate with the State Civil Service Agency (BKN) to request the results of the TWK.

"ICW reminds the Acting KPK Spokesperson not to provide hoax information related to the results of the National Insight Test (TWK)," said Kurnia in a written statement to reporters, Wednesday, June 16.

This statement regarding the submission of TWK results to the KPK from BKN is based on an upload on the KemenPANRB website. In the upload, it was stated that the Head of BKN Bima Haria Wibisana had submitted the results of the TWK to the KPK, represented by the Secretary General of the KPK, Cahya H. Harefa on April 27.

"The KPK's PPID (Information and Data Management Officer) is coordinating the fulfillment of the information because the copies of the documents requested are not fully under the control of the KPK," he told reporters, Tuesday, June 15.

Ali said that his party continues to work on getting the results of this TWK after receiving 30 application letters from his employees. The KPK PPID, he continued, had also responded to the letter.

In accordance with Law Number 14 of 2008 concerning the Openness of Public Information, the request must be fulfilled in writing no later than 10 working days. That time can be extended by 7 days by giving reasons for the delay in writing.

For information, the representative of the KPK employee who did not pass the TWK, Hotman Tambunan Iguh Sipurba has sent a request for information disclosure since May 31, 2021.
