Lucky Alamsyah Apologizes, But Not To Roy Suryo

JAKARTA - Actor Lucky Alamsyah apologized for all the things that happened as a result of his feud with Roy Suryo. But the apology was not addressed to Roy Suryo, but to the content uploaded to his Instagram account.

"I'm sorry for dealing with the commotion that happened after I uploaded it on Instagram, maybe the commotion was so fast, I hope this doesn't lead anywhere else," Lucky said in a virtual press conference, Tuesday, 15 June.

"So on this occasion I apologize for the noise from the Instagram Story that I made," he continued.

The upload contains a photo showing the condition of his car which was scratched due to being grabbed by a car that allegedly belonged to Roy Suryo.

As for issues that have entered the realm of law, Lucky said, let it continue. Later, the police will determine whether or not what he did was right.

"Regarding right or wrong, let the legal process decide. I apologize for my Instagram," said Lucky.

On the other hand, Lucky said that until now no communication has been established with Roy Suryo to resolve the problem. So, he said he would continue to follow the legal process that was already rolling.

"So far, there has not been, there has been no peaceful effort from Mas Roy. To invite peace, there is absolutely nothing," he said.

Lucky Alamsyah was previously reported on suspicion of defamation. The report by Roy Suryo was registered with LP/2669/V/YAN.2.5/2021/SPKT PMJ.

The feud between the two began with their claim that their car was grazed. Both admitted that they were victims of grazing.

After the incident, Lucky through his social media disclosed the incident. Roy who felt offended then reported the case to the Polda Metro Jaya with accusations of defamation.

Lucky as the reported party was reported under Article 27 Paragraph (3) in conjunction with Article 45 Paragraph (3) Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 19 of 2026 concerning Amendments to Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 11 of 2008 concerning ITE.
